A picture of my lovely welcome to the Gulf Asian School.
I had a wonderful time at the Sharjah International Festival of Reading. I visited the Shining Star school in Abu Dhabi, the Gulf Asian School in Sharjah and the Ambassador School in Dubai and met many fantastic and enthusiastic readers who really value books. Also sat on a panel meeting with, among others, the illustrator Korky Paul of Winnie the Witch fame! It was an amazing experience all round and huge thanks to the Sharjah Festival for the invitation.
